Classroom Cupcake Wars
This unit was used with high school seniors to facilitate three Writing to Evaluate tasks. Students work in teams to plan, bake, decorate, and evaluate cupcakes. My classes had access to the school Home and Careers kitchens, which allowed for us to complete the entire process. The students practiced teamwork and reflected on each step of the process.
