TEACHING EXPERIENCE

LookLookLearn was begun by Sana Feteiha (oral motor specialist & sp/l therapist) & Loren Svetvilas (special education teacher & learning consultant). Their combined 50-years of experience in school, home and therapeutic settings have led them on a new adventure of providing tips & tools for families, fellow educators, and professionals who work with children online. From oral motor, speech, and language development, to social skills, academics and staff trainings, Sana and Loren work to share their strengths so that others may grow.

MY TEACHING STYLE

We utilize a "Greenspan" approach to learning and skills development, which is to incorporate floor time and play into everything we present. We encourage our peers to work as a team, following an integrative model so that students gain skills through as many modalities as possible. Through LookLookLearn, we develop activities and lessons based on specific children's books, and highlight them monthly on our website. By creating an easy one-stop-shopping site for teachers, families and therapists, we hope to build opportunities for professionals to team-teach and team-treat their students.
