Burger Up! Creating Your Own Burger Business

I developed this activity originally for my Career Internship Students to better help them for the workforce, although the activity will easily work with elementary -to- High School students. Students create their own burger restaurant, complete with the restaurant's name, logo, menu, specialty burger, rating scale, and more! I found having students first reflect on their own experiences eating out helped. What hamburger restaurants do they enjoy most? (And the least!) Why? This will help students as they work to design their own burger joint. Having teaching assistants participate is an added fun bonus! My goal is to better prepare students and their team for learning, as well as build confidence as they strive for success.
