Viking Wanted Poster
I created this assignment to get my students excited about our unit on the Vikings. This assignment has students create a Wanted poster as if they are a Viking being hunted down by the English. I have included an example, a blank template (where it can be altered), an outline/rubric, and a version that can be typed into. When we did this, I had the student take a picture with the Viking helmet on to include on their poster.

Black Death Newspaper Project
Students are asked to travel back in time and report on the Black Death. They are to create a newspaper reporting on what they know on the Black Death. This includes directions, links that provides information, and a template to follow. Students loved doing this because they are able to show the creative side. I had students use the computer and also by hand.

A Modern Coat of Arms
Students will build a personal Coat of Arms. The work in done in Google Drawing and 4 templates are provided to get students started. When they are done they will write a paragraph explaining why they chose what they did for their project.
This template runs on Google Drive. So your students must have Google Accounts if you'd like them to use this template.
