Beginner Composition Project - End of the Year Choir Activity
Super easy composition project! Directions for the teacher on how to use this resource are included! Students first write out an 8 measure rhythm pattern. Performance Etiquette Parody Project
These are instructions I made for a performance etiquette parody project I've done with my 6th-8th grade chorus students, but can also be used for upper elementary or high school. This took about a week for my students to complete (started on Monday and performed on Friday and the following Monday). Great for squeezing in an extra major grade right after a concert, especially at the end of the year. This product downloads as a Microsoft Word document for you to edit if you'd like.

Draw Me Close to You in ASL
American Sign Language (ASL) is its own language with its own syntax. Because it is conceptual, it is not based on the written word.
With that in mind, this song is divided into two columns: the English words on the left with an ASL translation on the right. There are many ways to sign things, just as there are various ways to interpret any language; this is my suggestion for Draw me Close to You .

This is a Rock music project where students select and learn about a rock artist past or present.
