Hello my name is Suzanne! Thank you so much for stopping by! I am in my eighth year of teaching and have background in K-12 music. I have experience in vocal and instrumental music. I am currently serving as a K-6 Vocal Music Teacher in a New Jersey Public School as maintaining a series of group classes and private lessons.

I compare music teaching to baking a cake. Why? A cake is nothing without it's first layer. It's the foundation for the entire experience. The first layer is essential for everything that is to come. Sometimes I spend longer on fundamentals to ensure we can progress without confusion or uncertainty. Once the students master their first layer, we start adding the icing and so on. I work hard to make the learning process fun, engaging and interactive for my students. We sing, we play, we create, and we analyze. At the end of the day, music should be enjoyable and appreciated authentically by everyone.
