This is a social story for a student who struggles with keeping his/her hands to himself/herself. It includes colorful pictures and photos along with words. I have kept this file as a Microsoft Word document so that you can edit it for your student. Social Stories are meant to be tailored to fit a specific student's needs. This social story was written to address a 2nd grade child with autism who was taking his pants and underwear off in the classroom, hallway, and other settings. Unfortunately, he would often listen to peers who told him to do it so that others would laugh. He of course did not understand the social context, that is, until I created this story. This story comes in word format so that it can be customized to fit your student's individual need.
