TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am a NYS certified English teacher. I've taught every grade level from 6-12 in New York City and at a British International School in Dubai in the Middle East. I am currently working as a full-time high school English teacher and English Dept. Chair at a high-need public high school in the South Bronx. I freelance write on my spare time and privately tutor in Long Island. I write for USA Today, Modern Mom Magazine, Livestrong.com, AZ Central Travel, EHow.com, etc. I have experience teaching middle school and high school English Language Arts, writing, literature, English Regents and journalism classes. Additionally, I have worked as an adjunct professor for Lehman College and for Farmingdale State College.
