PDHPE Drug Safety Program for Kindy
This is a PDHPE drug safety program for Kindergarten. There are five lessons in this program. The lessons roughly go for about an hour each, but depending on your class it may run longer or shorter than the hour.

What is Wellness? A Semester long program on looking after yourself and others.
This program was designed for a Secondary Support Unit class and uses outcomes from the Australian Curriculum in English and PDHPE. It was created for my weekly Social Skills lessons and investigate what students know about healthy and unhealthy relationships. This is done by examining various forms of behaviours and communication; both inside and outside the school.Students will also explore their highly personalised triggers and how their response to conflict affects how they and others feel.

Career Day Letter to Volunteers
This is a letter I send asking for volunteers to speak at our "Career Day." It includes a letter to send to every parent to begin with and then one to send later to the parents who do volunteer. There is also a questionnaire for the quest speakers to fill out to prepare them.
Every October we talk about careers and community helpers. On "Career Day" students get to dress up as the career they would choose as an adult.

Teaching Tolerance
Abstract: This is a lesson to help students understand themselves and others. They will discuss stereotypes, tolerance, fairness, culture, racism, etc. Role-play will allow students to put themselves into situations where they might be misunderstood or prejudged and to discuss their reactions with their classmates. Hopefully, students will become more aware of prejudices and stereotyping and learn to accept and respect themselves and others for their differences, not because of them.

I created this activity to teach my high school special education students how to send a letter. The first two pages of the book.provide step by step instructions for writing the address and return address, putting on the stamp, sealing the envelope, and putting it in the mailbox. My 7 Continents Book with pictures
