This is a great Social Studies activity for the ESL learner!
It is essentially their own "Georgia is my State" book, where one side has easily readable, predictable text, and the other has a space for a picture and words.
Students read the left side and draw a picture of the state bird, nut, etc. on the other.
The last page reads "What else makes Georgia special? I live here!"
The students draw their own home in this space.
Great for ESL Kindergarten, First, or Second grade!
