I made this Worksheet to accompany The Bad Seed story. The students will circle the choices that would make the seed feel "good" and will draw the seed after they have made him feel "good". Elementary School Weekly Reading Log (Editable)
I created this Reading Log for my First Grade students. It can be used for any K-5 teacher. This log is an editable word document. There are three versions. This reading log was placed inside a gallon sized Ziploc bag. I used Avery Labels for these Ziploc bags. Inside the bag were 4 books (1 book for each night). Book in a Bag : Becoming a Better Reader in Fluency & Comprehension
"Book in a Bag" is an activity that I use to reinforce reading fluency and comprehension skills. I find old leveled readers, A-Z booklets, or anything that is on that particular student's independent reading level and I send it home in a plastic, gallon size, zip-lock baggie with their name written on it in black Sharpie.
