Holocaust Group Genocide - AVID Strategy Marking the Text
Students are a read and mark the text about 5 different groups of people who were targeted during the Holocaust. In this way, students are able to see that Jewish people were NOT the only targets.
Second, students write 4 separate paragraphs over their targeted group, edit the paragraphs with the teacher during student/teacher writing conferences, and finally create a product, a poster.

History Channel: The Presidents MC Video Quiz- Washington
If you own the DVD collection of the Presidents by the History Channel and you are teaching the Early National Period then my video quizzes are a great way to have short video with meaningful MC questions about the video. Raisin in the Sun Themes Chart with Key
This chart is designed to help students to learn and organize the specific themes from the play by Loraine Hansberry. It has one column that identifies the theme from the play, and another column for notes about each theme. This chart is a great way for teachers to offer instruction on the key themes of the play and tie them to the particular circumstances for each character. The key is included.

The Circuit Bundle
This is an activity that allows students to work together. It is focused around the short story "The Circuit." It can be incorporated in a unit of similar themes, characters, or stories. The story is included. I used this as a pre-reading exercise. I have students to complete the questions before reading the story.
