TC Kindergarten Reading Conference Notes Form
I created this reading conference notes form for units 1-7 to make conferring much easier for me in my classroom. You simply print out a page for each student and keep it in your conferring binder. When you meet with a student you check off one glow (what he/she did well) and one grow (what he/she needs to work on). You should have about 4 checked off under each column every month.

Guided Reading Form for Level A-D
This simple guided reading form will help to make your life easier when teaching guided reading to your students. It offers a checklist of reading behaviors in which you place a M (mastered) or a W (working on) for each student. It also has teaching points listed. You check off which teaching point you are using for the day.

ELD - RIRA
RIRA stands for Repeated Interactive Read Alouds. My school has recently started using the RIRA model during our designated ELD time. It's a great way to integrate vocabulary, sentence stems, and enjoyment of reading aloud all in one! Feel free to follow the pacing as guided, or find your own pace as needed. Informational Text Blank-Notes-Graphic Organizer
I created this organizer to support some of my ESE students when they read and analyze informational text/articles. It allows them to jot down notes from each paragraph and then make a summary of the entire text. Very easy to read and use. You will use this over and over text after text!! The students LOVE using it. They say it really helps them understand what they are reading.

Reading Guide Stand Tall Molly Lou Melon cause/effect (Com Core Aligned)
This eleven page reading guide lends itself to cause and effect.
When scholars complete the following questions, the teacher can rephrase the sentences to show cause and effect. For example, Molly balanced pennies on her teeth and the effect was the children smiled. OR Cause: children smiled EFFECT: Ronald felt foolish
