The First Americans, A Play About The Bering Land Bridge (Native Americans)
This is a short play about the most well-known migration theory concerning Native Americans.
If you are teaching about the origin of Native peoples in America, this is great way to help introduce the topic of the Bering Land Bridge theory.
The play will take about 5-10 minutes. It is meant as an enhancement to a lesson. It's great to get students involved and engaged in class. This offers that opportunity.

This product is an activity that has the students role playing. The students are divided up between two English colonies (Jamestown and Plymouth) and the Native American tribes they interacted with (Powhatan and the Wampanoag) .
The lesson comes with a scenario that gives background on each group and a series of questions and steps for each group to follow. The steps for each group a relatively the same. For example: Jamestown and Plymouth will follow the same steps.

I created this play for my classroom to engage my students more as we learned about Pre-Columbian civilizations. This play takes about 10-15 minutes to do and is meant as a supplement to your lesson.
