Writing with Lab Reports
In this cross curricular unit, students will learn about the scientific method while writing engaging lab reports. Included are directions for four experiments, two lab reports forms, a conclusion form and a weekly implementation plan. This fun unit is sure to please!

I use this activity as a culminating experience after we study chemical reactions.
Students are walked step by step through the process of planning an investigation. They will learn what is an independent and dependent variable. They will use the results of this experiment as evidence when they write a scientific argument about whether or not a chemical reaction takes place to produce the fountain.
