Measurement Cadence
I created this cadence to help my 2nd grade class remember the different units of measurement that we cover in our lessons. It focuses on centimeters, inches, and feet in the first 'verse' and length and width in the second 'verse.' I've added a color coding key to assist in how the cadence is read. By the 2nd or 3rd time reading it through, my students knew it and could lead each other in it. I wrote it up on a big butcher paper and hung it in the back of the room and referred to it throughout
