As a Dual Language teacher, I often find that resources in Spanish are limited. I went to a presentation where the speakers had written a song that accompanies a rounding game. This was a great song, however, it was written in English. I asked for permission to translate this song, so here it is! The students learn the process of rounding while having fun!

As a Dual Language teacher, I find that Spanish resources can be limited, so I wrote this song. The first few times we sing it, I visually tie the steps with an actual addition problem. French Café Chant
This rhythmic chant is meant to review vocabulary for the French Café. Low tech. Students tap a pencil or their feet. Repeat after teacher. Can be done in rounds with boys and then girl voices. As a summary activity have students write their own similar chant using vocabulary for foods, restaurant and/or cafe. Perform in front of class! Great for any age beginner class!
