Let's Make Some Butter ~ Science Lab and Writing/Research Activities
This is a classic activity that kids always love to experience! I am always surprised that so few of them have ever done it before! We usually do this lab while we are studying pioneers in social studies, but it can be done anytime of the year! I get mason jars from Amazon (they are pretty cheap). Thanksgiving STEM Challenge and Turkey Craft
Have fun this Thanksgiving with this two part craft/STEM activity. Students first create their own turkey craft with a Styrofoam ball. In the second part, students build a launcher to help the turkey “escape” from the farm.
