I taught grades 3 to 8 math, science, social studies, art, English language arts and Intensive French. I taught at two different schools over a span of 8 years.

I am a facilitator! I love creating an environment that gets students excited about learning and live for the moment when I see it in their eyes that they get it and are excited about their own learning! I truly believe the best way to learn is to be given the tools you need and then be allowed to explore until you find your understanding.

I have a Bachelor's degree in science with a focus in Forestry and Environmental Management and a Bachelor's degree in Education. I am also a certified Landscape Designer!

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

I decided to leave my full time teaching job in 2016 to follow my husband to his military posting in Western Canada. While I do miss teaching, my passion is currently in creating resources for teachers. No matter where you teach, I can guarantee you are overworked and exhausted! I hope to create resources that can take some of the stress off teachers so they can enjoy some free time with their families.
