Orange Shirt Day is an annual event held on September 30th to give First Nations, Metis, Inuit, governments, schools and communities the opportunity for healing, reconciliation and hope. It allows us to come together to remember the cruelty of the long-running Residential School System in Canada as well as to honour the survivors and their families.
