Crime Solving Insects - Using Entomology in Forensics

Observing and recording the insects found on a corpse at a crime scene can be crucial evidence that can determine the time of death. The ordered development of flies on a dead animal is predictable. Because of that, the flies can be used to help determine the time of death or other factors that may have legal implications. This lab has 4 different "crime scenes" involving animals.
