This is a graphic representation of the the formation of the passe compose in French. It includes regular and irregular past participles, etre and avoir verbs and part participle agreement. This is a great resource for students to refer to once they have covered the full formation of the passe compose.

Project Rubric: Design Your Own Dream House
I wrote this for my high school French I Unit on furniture and house vocabulary. Students must draw and label a blueprint of their dream house in order to practice the vocabulary. This rubric gives criteria from 0-5 on 10 different factors and asks students to grade themselves as well. Enjoy!

Students use their knowledge of French adjectives to describe 4 different nouns. I include four categories that I'd like my students to cover, however, you could just have your students write any adjective that makes sense depending on their level of vocabulary.Students must decide if that adjective goes in front or behind the noun according to the B.A.N.G.S agreement. Little Prince Book Packet
I read (in English) French literature to my middle school students. With each book, I have developed a packet for them to use which represents each chapter. Students love being read to, even in middle school. I also show the pictures of each chapter on the smart board as I read. At the end of the book, which takes a couple of months to read since we only do two chapters a week, we watch the movie as well. Easy introduction to French literature.

Maison hantee (with French prepositions)
An activity for Halloween- or anytime! There is a blank house and then there are sentences in French like "There is an owl in the tree." "There is a vampire in the window to the right of the door." La mode/ Clothing unit project choice board
Included in this French ''la mode" / clothing unit project board is the choice of 9 clothing/fashion related projects to expand on the French clothing unit. This allows students to choose the projects that they will create in order to demonstrate their understanding of French styles, clothing and accessories vocabulary. Some project choices also touch upon cultural learning discovery.

French activity. Directions, questions, and answers in French. Family members are described using the "tu" form and students must determine who it is and choose the answer from a word bank. This would be good when studying family vocabulary and also as a logic exercise. It could be done as a whole class activity, one-on-one, or in partners. "Je Suis" poème/"I am" poem FRENCH
