Students will learn about the history, arts, customs, and traditions of the French people. The project choices allow students to utilize their unique learning styles and multiple intelligences by choosing which project matches their preferences. This is a graphic representation of the the formation of the passe compose in French. It includes regular and irregular past participles, etre and avoir verbs and part participle agreement. This is a great resource for students to refer to once they have covered the full formation of the passe compose.

Project Rubric: Design Your Own Dream House
I wrote this for my high school French I Unit on furniture and house vocabulary. Students must draw and label a blueprint of their dream house in order to practice the vocabulary. This rubric gives criteria from 0-5 on 10 different factors and asks students to grade themselves as well. Enjoy!

French Adjectives (Adjectifs) Worksheet
Students use their knowledge of French adjectives to describe 4 different nouns. I include four categories that I'd like my students to cover, however, you could just have your students write any adjective that makes sense depending on their level of vocabulary.Students must decide if that adjective goes in front or behind the noun according to the B.A.N.G.S agreement. Maison hantee (with French prepositions)
An activity for Halloween- or anytime! There is a blank house and then there are sentences in French like "There is an owl in the tree." "There is a vampire in the window to the right of the door." Students can read the sentences and draw the items. You can have them work in pairs where one student reads the descriptions and the other follows the oral directions... Possibilities are endless!

French Speaking Conversation Time Activity: Es-tu libre ?
Students go around the classroom asking each other if they are free, practicing two commonly used vocabulary words: libre et occupé. They need to find their match and fill in the rest of the sheet with everyone's time slots.
