Tiny Food
We love using pop culture as the inspiration for our projects and lessons. At the moment, tiny things as well as foodie things are the current craze. Who hasn’t taken a picture of their food or watched a tv show about someone living in a tiny space or building a tiny home? In this lesson, students will be taking inspiration from both trends by creating tiny food displays with clay. I start with the students writing 10 things they want in partner and 10 things they do not want in a partner. I have them take the 10 things I want in a partner create a "poster" based on one of those statements. I make them write it out of the poster, draw an image, and make it colorful. I take the best ones and make a dating abuse bulletin board.There is a 48 hours video that is amazing about dating abuse that has a follow along paper.
