Trigonometry Golf
I like to call this activity Putt-Putt-Geometry. It is 9 glorious holes of trigonometry application! This works great as a Trig unit project, end of year project, or test review (maybe 1 or 2 holes for review). The students can work in groups, pairs, or individuals. If your students are not proficient with Trig, or you have not covered it yet, each hole can be done using the Pythagorean Theorem instead - simply tweak the directions a bit. This is an outdoor project with 5 stations for students to acquire hands on experience with indirect measuring using different tools, right triangle trig, and similar triangles.

Water Balloon Launcher Lab
This lab is very fun and exciting! The bonus is you get to go outdoors. You will use a standard water balloon launcher to calculate the maximum height a balloon went after being launch as well as the velocity of the balloon. There are two parts to the lab.
