Science truth and misconceptions icebreaker
The page includes 26 strips you can cut out, each strip has 3 science statements on it.
Two of the statements are true and one is false. I have the students read the 3 statements and let them select people to guess which one is false.
Another way to do this is go around the room in order asking students.

It is a sorting activity. It has six mats, one for each group with a colorful background matching the food pyramid. It also has 10 pages with 15 pictures in each showing different groups of food.
