This is a Greatest Common Factor game that I came up with for my students to practice finding factors of a number, and them locating the greatest common factor. They really enjoyed this game! It was very easy for them to understand with just a simple demonstration.

Exponent Dice Game
I created this dice game for students to practice exponents after our multiplication lesson on exponents. The strategy of the game is to choose the base and exponent that will give you the highest answers, because at the end the students will have to total up their answers in order to see who wins with the highest total. This helps with number sense, multiplication practice, and understanding exponential form.

This activity is a review for Algebra I or 7th/8th grade math laws of exponents.
I place the problems all over the room, students are in partners and "travel the world" together. After each problem (in a different city), they are to check their answers with me - it is their "passport," and if they are right, then I stamp their paper and they move on to another city. The kids really enjoy it - it keeps them moving - and engaged at their own pace!
