Animal Coverings - What do I have?
It is a matching or sorting activity. It has seven different mats showing the coverings of the animals such as fur, scale, etc. with 60 pictures of different animals. Students need to sort the animals according to their cover. Teacher could use the mats to introduce the lesson as well.

It is a sorting activity. It has six mats, one for each group with a colorful background matching the food pyramid. It also has 10 pages with 15 pictures in each showing different groups of food. I strongly recommend to use a cardstock and laminate the mats and pictures. Teacher could use the materials to teach the food groups and students could practice in a center.

Matching activity of scientific tools that lays the foundation for science inquiry
*PICTURE MATCH: Cut out cards of pictures and descriptions. Mix them up. Have your students match the pictures to the correct descriptions and discuss how these tools are used in science.
*MEMORY GAME: Place all cards face down and take turns trying to find and remember the matches.

Water Race Properties of Water
Students can compete in racing their own drop of water through the course to the finish line.
First, cover the handout with a sheet of wax paper. Each student will first fill their circle with water using an eye-dropper. Then at the same time they will begin to move their water through the course to the finish line.

I Have, Who Has (Fahrenheit Temperature Edition)
This item contains a 24 card game of "I have, who has" cards. It has temperatures in Fahrenheit only and contains temperatures that are counted in different intervals. For example, either by 2, 3, 5, 10, 20, 50. Some of the thermometer temperatures are not exactly on a number (For example, the temperature may be half way between the numbers). Some of the thermometers have increment marks between the numbers, so that not all marks have a number.
