These Science vocabulary cards include the word, definition, and picture. Cut them out and have students sort them individually or whole group. I make one set per table group. I laminate them, cut them out, and place them in bags. We then read everything together while the students take turns matching them. Finally, we check at the end. This is a great introduction or review activity. It can also be a memory match game.

This is a homemade board game using question cards that reiterate the vocabulary words in a 1st-3rd grade science lesson. The game cards are arranged so that they can be printed front first, then the answers on the back. I have provided a picture of my actual game board. Color cards, directions, vocabulary words, and other suggestions included. Personally, I make this on a poster board or foam board--- it's quick, it's easy, and easy to laminate!
