Latin Verb Tense Identification and Translation Practice (Imp, Perf, Pres)
In part A of this two part assignment, students are asked to match Latin verbs to their definitions. In part B, Latin verbs are provided in present, imperfect, and perfect tenses, and students are asked to identify their tense and translate using the appropriate pronouns and tense. This activity uses vocabulary from Unit 1 Cambridge Latin Course, but is pretty standard vocabulary for all level 1 Latin courses.

Memorization Workshop Activity - Study Skills (Latin or any subject)

Latin I does this story very early in the year, so it only contains 1st and 2nd declension nouns and verbs of the present tense. It takes me about 2 classes to translate this story, give or take. An authentic ancient ghost story from a writer named Phlegon, who collected tales of the supernatural.
