Description

The story of Hercules and his unfortunate music teacher, Linus the Centaur, tranlated into simple Latin, suitable for a Latin I class. Practices use of the genitive to show possession. Contains some 3rd declension nouns. Would also be quick review for upper level students. My students generally take one 42-minute period to translate this story. One page, includes vocabulary. Myth adapted and translated by Sara Sprunk.
