Elementary Level GROW Rubric - Genius Hour, Project Based Learning

Teachings of Jesus - Assessment Project
This project assesses students' knowledge of some of Jesus' key teachings, including the Beatitudes, the Sermon on the Mount, and the parables.
It offers a choice of 3 options, which allow students of many different strengths the opportunity to demonstrate their understanding effectively. Option 1 is an art project (illuminated manuscript), Option 2 is a "Write Your Own Parable" activity, and Option 3 is a memorized performance of a Gospel passage of the student's choice.

Simple Positive Behavior Chart (Primary Grades)
This is a simple positive behavior incentives chart meant for use with younger students and/or students who need frequent reinforcements followed by quick rewards. I use this as a tool to aid in evaluating students' life skills. This 4 page document includes rubrics for; attentiveness, responsibility, working independently, completing work carefully, being cooporative, being respectful, and social maturity. The last page has a section for writing individual student goals. This has been a life saver when parents have come complaining about a life skills grade their child received.
