Free Reading Book Speed Dating
Book Speed dating is a great activity to help students choose a "just right" book for free reading! You can do this with a plethora of classroom novels or work with a school librarian for a class trip to the library with novel access there. Students have about 5- 8 minutes to preview a book and fill out the chart. A discussion on "just right" books before hand is a good idea, but this activity is a fun way to get books into the hands of students! Have fun and happy reading speed dating!
