Many libraries are eliminating the Dewey Decimal classification from their libraries to make it easier for students to find books. But are we doing a disservice to students by not teaching them a method of organization which involves alphabetizing and numeric order?

This is a biography project of Great Canadians. Students can choose one of the Canadians that were included in the handout, or they may choose their own. The outline of the assignment is provided, as well as an extensive (but incomplete) list of possible great Canadians and in what categories they fall in terms of their contributions to Canada.
