Keyboarding Timed Writing Rubric
I use this for my 7th grade Keyboarding class. Since it is a semester class, I use 30 words a minute for the top goal the first nine weeks I have them, and 40 words a minute the second nine weeks I have them. I add their converted WPM score to the actual Accuracy % and divide by 2 to get the grade I record.This is an editable document.

Banned Books Week Project Based Learning Project
Students will research a book that has been banned/challenged (assigned by teacher), complete a district's real 'Reconsideration of Challenged Materials" form, and write an essay persuading someone to ban/ not ban the book.

Genius Hour Scoring Guides (triple and single point scoring guides)

Altering Text – Name Fun
After teaching students different ways to alter test in Microsoft Word, this handout is used for assessment for students to show what they know about altering text. It is a word document so you can edit it to your liking. I have used it in grades K-8. It has a but in rubric.

This is a research project to help students use the knowledge they learned in class to cover the events of a an earthquake or volcanic eruption of their choice. Through their research, they will help to build a real-life connection to the information taught in class, as well as gain skills in researching, building a video through using apps of your/their choice, hence use of technology, as well as proper citations and referencing.
