Science Experiment Conclusion Cards

Created by
Amy Sanders
There are 10 science experiment conclusion cards. On each card is enough information and data for your students to make a conclusion on the experiment and support their claim with evidence from the experiment. I have included a list of ideas on how to use these cards in your science classroom to get your students thinking. These have been a huge help in getting my kids started on reading and analyzing charts, which is an essential skill to passing the ACT Aspire test.

Carousel Questioning Stations

This is a document that provides a question or activity for students to complete at 6 different stations. Each of the six different stations either review an Inquiry skill or a Engineering and Technology skill. This is a great tool to use for a lesson plan that is reviewing technology/engineering and inquiry. I had my kids get in groups of 3-4 and then rotate around to each station. I had them stay at each station and work out the problem or task with their group for about 7 mins. You can make y

Egg Drop Contraption

Using the Engineering Design Process students will use this worksheet to guide them through the steps when creating their own egg dropping device. We used a window in our building that is 20ft from the ground and raw eggs. The eggs we inserted into their protoype and dropped it from the window. To see if their prototype was successful we would see if the egg cracked. This is a great post-TCAP activity that is still working on scientific skills.
