Math on the Move
In this activity, students solve different problems with equivalent answers, then work together to compare answers. (NOTE - answers are the same when they're rounded to the nearest tenth). Once solved, students partner up and compare answers and methods of solving the problems. Then the pair of students fill out a reflections page, in which they discuss and describe in words different methods of solving each problem. This activity encourages students to collaborate and discuss problems.
