This is a song I wrote to help my students remember how many sides each polygon has! They really enjoyed singing it and it really helped them remember. I always love when they take the test and I can hear them humming the tune to help them remember!

Congruent Shapes
A math music video that explains what congruent shapes are. This song is intended to lower students' affective filter prior to a video lesson and information gap activities. Those components will be available for download shortly.
The lessons that follow this song use similarity and congruence to introduce perimeter, area, square units, translations, rotations, and reflections. They're referred to flips, slides, and turns in the videos.
Circles Song (Lyrics Only)
This is a song about circles to the tune of "My House" by Flo Rida. My students and I sing this during our circles unit in geometry class. It includes the vocabulary and relationships of lines that go through circles, as well as area, circumference, arc length, sector area, and equations of circles. I also use it as a call and response when students get stuck and don't know what to do. My students have said it helps them remember on quizzes and tests. Music makes memory!

Area of Polygons and Circle Mnemonic Song
Students will be able to remember the area formula for the square, rectangle, parallelogram, triangle, and circle after learning this mnemonic song to the tune of "Miss Mary Mack." I think your students will really enjoy this song.
