I use this in my class for all operations to ensure place value remains correct. The boxes are larger so the kids can write in the them. On the 100th day we make a snack of 10 different sets of 10 small snacks! We use the 100's chart to help visualize the groups of 10 and color each row as we count out that snack. This is also a nice math-tool to copy on cardstock and laminate - the students LOVE the crazy fonts!

This is set up in PowerPoint so it could be printed with just one slide per page or three to make a booklet. Each page has lines for letters to write a mystery number then the student will show the number in pictures, words, numbers and expanded notation. The first page starts with forty and the slides following go to fifty then you have a another set that starts with seventy and goes trough eighty.

This product can be used for independent work, small group work, or an assessment tool for students to use for help. The mat is design for use of numbers up to 99. There are 2 ten frames on the ones side to help teach the need for regrouping. This mat would also be helpful to use when teaching adding 2 digit numbers with and without regrouping. For this you would need to print two on a page.

This place value chart is great for showing students how many tens and how many ones go together to make a number. It can be used on it's own or pairs great with the "I'm thinking of a number" game. Give students a clue such as "My number has three tens and four ones". Students can color in 3 tens rods and 4 ones cubes and then write the corresponding numbers at the bottom. Enjoy!

This hundreds chart starts with 0 and ends the row with 9. Rows continue in that fashion of 10-19, 20-29, etc. This helps students who are struggling to know when to regroup. Several versions of the chart are included as well as ideas for using the chart. One chart has the 10's column in red to help cue students to regroup. Use with manipulatives or just as a visual. Simple charts with no distracting visual stimulus. This is for single classroom use only.
