Simplifying Fraction Task Cards
This is a set of 24 task cards that require students to simplify fractions. Each card has one fraction, and the card either says simplify, reduce, or write in the lowest terms. (I wanted my 6th graders to recognize that those each mean the same thing.)
I put these around the room and I used a buzzer that let students know when they should move to the next one. I could tell when the students started getting the hang of it because they began finishing their cards well before I rang the buzzer! :)
