Our school, along side a speech pathologist, have sorted the oxford sight words into sounds which support the jolly phonics program. There are 7 phases of words that can be sounded out and follow the introduction of sounds jolly phonics uses. This is a sight word motivator.Students will compete against one another on who can get the most ice cream scoops on the cone the fastest!
Have each child color their ice cream cone and put them all up on a bulletin board.
