A Writer's Placemat is a portable word wall to help scaffold young writers!
This file contains lists students commonly use during Writer's Workshop that can be cut and made into a writing placemat. Visual Mazes: Easy Eye Tracking Mazes
This is a set of 24 maze cards for students to complete visually without the use of a pencil. Students must use eye tracking skills to visually work their way from one end of the maze to the other (from one red dot to the other).
It is suggested to print on cardstock then cut apart each of the cards so that students are not visually distracted by other mazes. Present each card one at a time, or keep them on a key ring for quick practice.
