This is a notebook slide adapted from a simple 'argument' game. I used this in my fourth grade class as a fun game to practise persuasive language. Two students at a time (could be played in teams). Each student presses interactive dice which determines which topic will be argued. Students then need to give 2 arguments for their side. Class can vote on who had the better points. Winner can continue with new opponent.

This is a lesson from my "Grammar Rocks" series. This lesson introduces proper nouns and focuses on names of people. The lesson starts out reviewing nouns with cubes. Students will roll the cube and name if the picture shows a person, place or thing noun. Next proper nouns are introduced and students are are asked to write their name and circle the capital letter.
