NYS Common Core ELA Skill Strand Word work lessons for the entire month!

One of the components of the program is a pocket chart. I find I can create the same experiences for the children with the smartboard technology. The big plus is that it saves time so instead of preparing everyday for the lesson, I can have the lessons ready at my fingertips. I have created the Pocket chart for use in the "chaining and tricky word exercises". The first 20 lessons of unit 1 are included. This will take you through the first 4-5 weeks of school depending on the level of your students. From there I move on to Unit 2 to begin the long vowel work.

*Note Lessons 6-10 are assessments that need to be completed before lesson 11 can begin.
