This is a PowerPoint presentation that I made to sort of outline the basics of the five periods of music history that I decided to focus on in my classroom:

Body Percussion Composition Worksheet
A fun musical activity to use the basics of rhythm notation (inspired by Kodaly) and enable students to create their own body percussion compositions. This is the first worksheet, which assumes that students have learnt the basics of rhythmic notation, and creating a four beat bar. Further worksheets will be available soon to develop these ideas, and gradually encourage composition using pitch and ukulele chords
