Use the first sheet as a teaching poster. I print mine out on ledger paper and laminate it. This is the first period of the Montessori lesson. The second period is to identify the parts (find the catchy topic sentence), and the third part is to write their own. I've used this for both Lower and Upper Elementary students.

Essay Composition- 1 paragraph
We use this as an outline template with Essay Composition. Students then show the teacher, and rewrite it in paragraph form on notebook paper (double spacing). This is their rough draft for editing. Once edited, they write it in their best handwriting, using ink pen, double spacing. The final draft is typed.
