TEACHING EXPERIENCE

My name is Krysten and the last 6 years of my life have been filled with little ones giggling, playing, and most importantly: learning valuable lessons, both academic and social/emotional. I spent two years at a wonderful charter school teaching first grade and the latter four years have been in a picturesque Montessori school instructing first through third grade students.

MY TEACHING STYLE

The Montessori Method has me hook, line, and sinker. To sum my teaching style up simply, I'd like to share this quote from Maria Montessori: "The greatest sign of success for a teacher is to say, 'The children are now working as if I did not exist.'"
