Rocks and Minerals Assessment Activity Smart Board
This is a SMART board activity that can be used as whole class review/introduction of rocks and minerals or it can be used as individual assessment of rocks and minerals. This assessment/activity covers the three types of rocks, igneous, sedimentary, metamorphic, difference between a rock and mineral, mineral properties, moh's hardness scale, and volcanoes. My students love to use individual computers and SMART notebook to complete this assessment at the end of my rocks and minerals unit.

Butterfly Life Cycle Attendance for SMART notebook
I like to call this, Super Attendance because each student gets a DIFFERENT icon. Other attendance trackers have the same pictures with different student names. Kids LOVE how their attendance picture is special to only them. All names are easily editable in Smart Notebook with instructions provided. Layers of the Atmosphere Labeling - SMART Board Activity
I used this activity with my students to review the height, temperature, features, and names of the layers of the atmosphere. Ecology Review- Jeopardy
This resource is a complete Ecology Review including topics from whom eats who, biomes, everything cycles and random. There are 25 questions with answers. For this to work you click the question once the students have answered. This will bring you to the correct answer and then you click on the home button to bring you back to the jeopardy screen. Solar Energy Quick Check
A short 10 question quick check on solar energy. Most of the questions focus on conduction, convection, and radiation. There are two questions on the layers of the atmosphere. The notebook file is set up with the first 5 slides contain the question and pictures. These can be used with students writing answers on a sheet of notebook paper. ACTIVITY: Land-form & Maps Scavenger Hunt
A great way to cover two topics at once! Have your students learn map skills and the land-forms found in different areas of the world! Simply write North, East, South, and West on the different walls of your classroom. Then place pictures of the land-forms in those four different areas. Your students will write down the land-forms they see on the worksheet that goes with this game! Students will be practicing their cardinal directions and reviewing their land-form knowledge at the same time!
