I have taught since 1997. Currently, I have been teaching Kindergarten since 2001. I have also taught as a substitute teacher, General Music Specialist, 1st grade teacher, Curriculum Specialist, and Technology Specialist. I was my school's support in technology for 11 years and have taught technology classes for my school district and staff.
I try to provide a lot of hands-on activities with my student through math and literacy stations. Majority of my lessons use technology.
I showcase students' technology skills annually at our district's Tech Expo and have been asked to be a trainer at our district's EDGE Institute, which incorporates technology skills with our new teacher evaluation system.
I have a B.A. with Honors in Russian Language & Literature from the University of Washington and a Master in Teaching from City University. I am a Certified Microsoft Innovative Educator
I am happily married with a son and daughter. Addicted to doing things on the computer. I love coming up with new activities and doing crafts with my kids. You can find out more info about my teaching at my blog: http://kindergartenknews.blogspot.com
