Coping Skills - iCope iPod
With their own iPod they can create their own coping skills to use when they are in a stressful or difficult situation. I use the coping skills visuals to introduce the ideas and we discuss them. The students pick out their favorite and color them. I've laminated them and kept them on their desk for them to refer to. So instead of saying, "calm down" or "go relax", I say, "look at your iPod". (It sounds less confrontational) ENJOY :)
